Browlift
The forehead, brow, and eyebrows can descend or droop as part
of the ageing process, in certain congenital conditions, and occasionally
in traumatic conditions where only one side of the face may be affected.
This can be lifted, released and repositioned with the use of television-controlled,
minimally-invasive endoscopic surgery. Small incisions are made
in the hairline to allow cameras and instruments to lift the forehead
skin and muscles, reposition them, and then resuture and leaves
minimal scarring.
Browlift is performed under general anaesthesia and involves one
or two nights stay in hospital. Bruising and swelling will usually
resolve within two weeks.
The surgery can be combined with other facial rejuvenation procedures
such as a facelift, eyelid surgery, or rhinoplasty.
